A big “Thank You” to local high school students who volunteered for a day of service in our community garden. 12 students spent a very hot day, to put it mildly, in the garden weeding, removing rocks, and spreading woodchips on the paths. But it wasn’t all work though! There was time to visit the chickens and baby chicks as well as finish the day with a slice of fresh watermelon. We are grateful for the time they took to give a day in their lives to serving their local community by tending this garden. Many of the gardeners have already expressed their gratitude.
